1. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced the setting up of the Vikram Sarabhai Children Innovation Center (VSCIC).

2. The Iranian parliament approved a triple-urgency bill which designates the US army and the Pentagon as a terrorist entity.

5. US ride-hailing company Uber Technologies Inc and South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor have teamed up to develop electric air taxis.
अमेरिकन राइड-हेलिंग कंपनी उबर टेक्नोलॉजीज इंक आणि दक्षिण कोरियन वाहन निर्माता ह्युंदाई मोटर यांनी इलेक्ट्रिक एअर टॅक्सी विकसित करण्यासाठी एकत्रित आले आहेत.

6. The Union Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah released a book titled Karmayoddha Granth in New Delhi on 7 January 2020. In his book, Amit Shah has shared the life of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शहा यांनी 7 जानेवारी 2020 रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे कर्मयोद्धा ग्रंथ नावाच्या पुस्तकाचे प्रकाशन केले. अमित शहा यांनी आपल्या पुस्तकात पंतप्रधान श्री नरेंद्र मोदी यांचे जीवन सामायिक केले आहे.

7. The Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar presented the Antarrashtriya Yoga Diwas Media Samman in New Delhi on 7 January 2020.

8. National Statistical Office (NSO) has estimated India’s GDP growth rate for 2019-20 estimated at 5% on 7 January 2020. It has seen dipping to an 11-year low of 5% in the current fiscal.
राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालयाने (NSO) 07 जानेवारी 2020 रोजी भारताचा जीडीपी विकास दर 2019-20 च्या अंदाजे 5 टक्क्यांपर्यंत वाढविला आहे. चालू आर्थिक वर्षात तो 11 वर्षांच्या नीचांकी पातळीवर घसरला आहे.

9. Two Indian origin women, Judge Archana Rao and Judge Deepa Ambedkar have been appointed as judges to criminal and civil courts.  The judges were appointed by New York mayor Bill de Blasio.
न्यायाधीश अर्चना राव आणि न्यायाधीश दीपा आंबेडकर या दोन भारतीय वंशाच्या महिलांना फौजदारी व दिवाणी कोर्टाचे न्यायाधीश म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे. न्यायाधीशांची नियुक्ती न्यूयॉर्कचे महापौर बिल डी ब्लासिओ यांनी केली होती.

10. One of India’s best-known artists, Akbar Padamsee passed away in Coimbatore on 6 January 2020. He was 91 years old.
भारतातील नामवंत कलाकारांपैकी एक, अकबर पदमसी यांचे 6 जानेवारी 2020 रोजी कोयंबटूरमध्ये निधन झाले. ते 91 वर्षांचे होते.
