1. India successfully tested advanced sea to sea variant of BrahMos Supersonic Cruise missile from INS Visakhapatnam. Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO said the missile hit the designated target ship precisely.
भारताने INS विशाखापट्टणम येथून ब्रह्मोस सुपरसॉनिक क्रूझ क्षेपणास्त्राची प्रगत समुद्र ते समुद्रात यशस्वी चाचणी केली. डिफेन्स रिसर्च अँड डेव्हलपमेंट ऑर्गनायझेशन, डीआरडीओने सांगितले की, क्षेपणास्त्राने नेमून दिलेल्या लक्ष्य जहाजावर अचूक मारा केला.

2. Former Congress leader Arvind Khanna and Shiromani Akali Dal leader Gurdeep Singh Gosha joined BJP in New Delhi.

3. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has inaugurated Kalpana Chawla Centre for Research in Space Science and Technology (KCCRSST) at Chandigarh University.
संरक्षण मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह यांनी चंदीगड विद्यापीठातील कल्पना चावला संशोधन अंतराळ विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञान केंद्र (KCCRSST) चे उद्घाटन केले.

4. On January 11, 2022, India and Korea held a bilateral trade talk. The talks focused on non – tariff barriers, market access issues, trade deficit faced by the Indian exporters.

5. On January 10, 2022, the US and Russian officials met in Geneva. They are to discuss on several issues including the tensions around Ukraine.

6. The Government of India recently decided to allow 20% Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in LIC (Life Insurance Corporation).
भारत सरकारने अलीकडेच LIC (लाइफ इन्शुरन्स कॉर्पोरेशन) मध्ये 20% थेट विदेशी गुंतवणुकीला (FDI) परवानगी देण्याचा निर्णय घेतला.

7. The Government of India is to provide third dose of vaccine. This third dose has been named “precaution dose” or booster dose.
भारत सरकार लसीचा तिसरा डोस देणार आहे. या तिसऱ्या डोसला “सावधिक डोस” किंवा बूस्टर डोस असे नाव देण्यात आले आहे.

8. Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov recently ordered officials to find a method of finally extinguishing the ‘Gateway to Hell’ in the country.

9. Recently, doctors transplanted a pig heart into a patient in a last effort to save his life, in Maryland hospital in USA. It was done for the first time in the history of medical.
अलीकडेच, अमेरिकेतील मेरीलँड रुग्णालयात डॉक्टरांनी एका रुग्णाचा जीव वाचवण्याच्या शेवटच्या प्रयत्नात डुकराचे हृदय प्रत्यारोपित केले. मेडिकलच्या इतिहासात पहिल्यांदाच असे झाले.

10. Government appointed new directors to the Indian Institutes of Technology in Delhi, Indore, Madras, and Mandi, on January 10, 2022. Name of the new directors Prof Rangan Banerjee was appointed as next director of IIT Delhi.
सरकारने 10 जानेवारी 2022 रोजी दिल्ली, इंदूर, मद्रास आणि मंडी येथील भारतीय तंत्रज्ञान संस्थांमध्ये नवीन संचालकांची नियुक्ती केली. नवीन संचालकांची नावे प्रा. रंगन बॅनर्जी यांची आयआयटी दिल्लीचे पुढील संचालक म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली.
