1. The Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore (IIMB)becomes only Indian institute to feature in QS EMBA Rankings 2019.
इंडियन इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ मॅनेजमेंट-बॅंगलोर (IIMB) QS EMBA रँकिंग 2019 मध्ये  वैशिष्ट्यीकृत करणारी एकमेव भारतीय संस्था ठरली आहे.

2. World Book Day is celebrated by UNESCO and other related organisations every year on the 23rd of April.
23 एप्रिलला यूनेस्को आणि इतर संबंधित संस्थांनी जागतिक पुस्तक दिवस साजरा केला आहे.

3. Shri Rajendra Kumar Nayak took over as the 52nd Controller General of Defence Accounts.

4. The government extended the ban on import of milk and milk products (including chocolates, chocolate products, candies/ confectionary/ food preparations with milk or milk solids as an ingredient) from China.
भारताने चीनमधून दूध आणि दुधाच्या उत्पादनांवर (प्रतिबंध, चॉकलेट उत्पादने, कँडीज / मिष्ठान्न / दूध किंवा घटकांच्या स्वरूपात दूध तयार करणे) आयात करण्यावरील निर्बंध वाढविला आहे.

5. The total deposits in Jan Dhan Account are set to cross Rs 1 lakh crore soon. The scheme was launched on 28th August 2014 by the Modi-government with an aim to provide universal access to banking facilities to all households.
जन धन खात्यातील एकूण ठेवी लवकरच 1 लाख कोटी रुपयांपर्यंत जाण्याची शक्यता आहे ही योजना 28 ऑगस्ट 2014 रोजी मोदी सरकारद्वारे सर्व कुटुंबांना बँकिंग सुविधांमध्ये सार्वत्रिक प्रवेशासह सुरू करण्यात आली होती.

6. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has given its nod to HDFC Ltd for acquiring up to 9.9 per cent stake in Bandhan Bank following the Gruh Finance deal.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (आरबीआय) ग्र्ह फायनान्स सौदानंतर बंधन बँकेमध्ये 9.9 टक्के हिस्सा विकत घेण्यासाठी एचडीएफसी लिमिटेडला मान्यता दिली आहे.

7. State-owned Allahabad Bank said on April 23 the government has increased its authorised capital by Rs 5,000 crore to Rs 8,000 crore.
राज्य मालकीच्या इलाहाबाद बँकेने सांगितले की 23 एप्रिल रोजी सरकारने आपल्या अधिकृत भांडवलात 5000 कोटी रुपयांवरून 8,000 कोटी रुपयांपर्यंत वाढ केली आहे.

8. The first edition of Naval Commanders’ Conference held in New Delhi and will continue till 25th April 2019. The Hon’ble Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman addressed Naval Commanders Conference on the opening day.
नवी दिल्ली येथे आयोजित नवल कमांडर्स कॉन्फरन्सची पहिली आवृत्ती आणि 25 एप्रिल 2019 पर्यंत सुरू राहील. माननीय संरक्षण मंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन यांनी पहिल्या दिवशी नवा कमांडर्स कॉन्फरन्स संबोधित केले.

9. The Centre has revamped its high-level ‘anti-hijack panel’ by including top officials in the Prime Minister’s Office, especially National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.

10. World number one Bajrang Punia won a gold medal to reclaim his Asian Championship crown.
जागतिक क्रमवारीतील पहिल्या क्रमांकाचा खेळाडू बजरंग पुनियाने त्याच्या आशियाई चॅम्पियनशिपचा मुकुट मिळविण्यासाठी सुवर्णपदक जिंकले आहे.
