1. The Union Cabinet has expanded the scope of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) to allow cooperative societies to register as buyers on this portal.

2. In the month of May 2022, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue stood at around Rs 1.41 lakh crore. This is a 44 percent increase in comparison to May 2021. The GST collection in May was lower than what was recorded in April 2022 which stood at Rs 1.68 lakh crore.

3. The government of Punjab has abolished physical stamp papers with the aim of bringing more efficiency and checking the pilferage of the state revenue. After this decision, stamp papers of any denomination can currently be obtained via e-stamp (computerized print-out) from any authorized banks or stamp vendors.

2. In the financial year 2021-22, India recorded its highest-ever apparel and textiles exports which stood at USD 44.4 billion.
