1. India intends to deploy a quantum satellite within the next two to three years in order to improve the security of communications through the use of quantum technology. This initiative is a component of the National Quantum Mission (NQM), which was authorized in April 2023 with a budget of ₹6,000 crore. The NQM will persist until 2031 and will concentrate on the application of quantum physics to enhance communication and sensing systems.

क्वांटम तंत्रज्ञानाच्या वापराद्वारे संप्रेषणाची सुरक्षा सुधारण्यासाठी भारत पुढील दोन ते तीन वर्षांत क्वांटम उपग्रह तैनात करण्याचा मानस बाळगतो. हा उपक्रम राष्ट्रीय क्वांटम मिशन (NQM) चा एक घटक आहे, जो एप्रिल २०२३ मध्ये ₹6000 कोटी बजेटसह अधिकृत करण्यात आला होता. 2. The Minister for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, recently disclosed the “India State of Forest Report 2023” (ISFR 2023). Utilizing satellite imagery and field surveys, this biennial report, which has been generated by the Forest Survey of India (FSI) since 1987, provides exhaustive critical data regarding India’s forest and tree resources.

पर्यावरण, वन आणि हवामान बदल मंत्री श्री भूपेंद्र यादव यांनी अलीकडेच “इंडिया स्टेट ऑफ फॉरेस्ट रिपोर्ट २०२३” (ISFR २०२३) जाहीर केला. उपग्रह प्रतिमा आणि क्षेत्रीय सर्वेक्षणांचा वापर करून, १९८७ पासून फॉरेस्ट सर्व्हे ऑफ इंडिया (FSI) द्वारे तयार केलेला हा द्वैवार्षिक अहवाल भारताच्या वन आणि वृक्ष संसाधनांबाबत संपूर्ण महत्त्वपूर्ण डेटा प्रदान करतो.
3. Recent revisions have been implemented by the GST Council to improve tax compliance and clarity within the tax framework, with the objective of simplifying tax processes for businesses and consumers and reducing tax evasion.

1. The 2025 World Para Athletics Championships will be held in New Delhi, which will be the first time India has hosted this prestigious event. This marks a significant milestone. The championships, which are scheduled to take place from September 26 to October 5, will highlight the abilities of para-athletes from around the world.

2025 ची जागतिक पॅरा ॲथलेटिक्स अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धा नवी दिल्ली येथे होणार आहे, जिथे भारत पहिल्यांदाच या प्रतिष्ठित स्पर्धेचे आयोजन करत आहे. हा एक महत्त्वाचा टप्पा आहे. 26 सप्टेंबर ते 05 ऑक्टोबर दरम्यान होणाऱ्या या अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धा जगभरातील पॅरा-अ‍ॅथलीट्सच्या क्षमतांवर प्रकाश टाकतील.

5. Masali village, situated in the Suigam taluka of Banaskantha, has recently been recognized as the first solar-powered border village in India. The village, which is situated approximately 40 kilometers from the Pakistani frontier, is home to approximately 800 residents and is a component of the frontier Development Project, which is designed to convert 17 villages into solar-powered communities.

6. India continued to be the world leader in remittances in 2024, with non-resident Indians (NRIs) sending home an extraordinary $129 billion. This represents a significant increase from the previous year’s remittance of Rs 8.95 lakh crore. The report from the World Bank affirms that India is the largest recipient, surpassing Mexico, China, the Philippines, and Pakistan.

7. A new mRNA vaccine has been announced by Russia, which has made significant progress in the treatment of cancer. This vaccine has undergone promising pre-clinical trials and is expected to be available to patients free of charge by early 2025. It has the potential to suppress tumor growth and prevent the spread of cancer.
