2. Railway passengers will soon get another high-tech train from the stable of the Integral Coach Factory (ICF). The new train –Electrical Multiple Unit (EMU) –commonly known as an electric train, running at a speed of 130 Kmph is ready for its trial launch. The EMU train with higher passenger capacity already set off for Delhi (December 19), Sudhanshu Mani, General Manager.

1. The Maharashtra cabinet approved an ex-gratia payment of Rupees 200 per quintal rate for onions sold between November 1 to December 15. The compensation will cover a total of 75 lakh metric tons of onions.

4.  India and China concluded the ‘Hand-in-Hand’ military exercise on 22nd December 2018 in China’s Chengdu City. This was the 7th edition if the ‘Hand-in-Hand military exercise. The Hand-in-Hand military exercise didn’t take the place last year due to prevailing tensions between both sides after 73-day military standoff at Doklam.
