1. The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) appointed its joint secretary Vikram Singh Sisodia as the Chef-de-Mission for the upcoming Commonwealth Games to be held in Gold Coast, Australia.
भारतीय ऑलिम्पिक संघटनेने (आयओए) संयुक्त सचिव विक्रमसिंह सिसोदिया यांची ऑस्ट्रेलियातील गोल्ड कोस्ट येथे होणाऱ्या आगामी राष्ट्रकुल खेळांसाठी शेफ-डी-मिशन म्हणून नियुक्ती केली आहे.

2. The union government made Permanent Account Number (PAN) mandatory for any entity conducting financial transactions of 2.5 lakh or more.
केंद्र सरकाराने 2.5 लाख किंवा त्यापेक्षा अधिक आर्थिक व्यवहारांसाठी पॅन कार्ड अनिवार्य केले.

8. The Government of India has constituted a high-level committee to look into procedures for sharing of infrastructure for utilities like water pipes and telecom cables. It will be headed by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
भारत सरकारने जल पाईप्स आणि दूरसंचार केबल्ससारख्या उपयोगितांसाठी पायाभूत सुविधांच्या विकासाची कार्यपद्धती पाहण्याकरिता एक उच्चस्तरीय समिती स्थापन केली आहे. केंद्रीय मंत्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली या समितीचे नेतृत्व केले जाईल.

10. World’s oldest man Francisco Nunez Olivera passes away. He was 113.
जगातील सर्वात वयस्कर माणूस फ्रान्सिस्को नूनेझ ओलिव्हेरा यांचे निधन  झाले  ते. 113 वर्षांचे होते.
