On 3 August 2026, the Union Ministry of Finance proposed amendments to the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 seeking to re-introduce Merchant Discount Rate on select digital payment modes. | 1. Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) is a scheme under National Pension System (NPS) for Central Government employees. | 1. The Union Cabinet on 31 July 2026 approved the revised Khelo India Scheme and increased Assistance to National Sports Federations Scheme. The total outlay will be Rs 36,441 crore during the period between 2026-27 and 2030-31. The package includes grassroots talent identification, athlete development, sports infrastructure and support to national federations. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने 31 जुलै 2026 रोजी सुधारित ‘खेलो इंडिया’ योजना आणि ‘राष्ट्रीय क्रीडा महासंघांना सहाय्य’ योजनेतील वाढीव तरतुदींना मंजुरी दिली. 2026-27 ते 203031 या कालावधीसाठी यासाठी एकूण 36,441 कोटी रुपयांची तरतूद करण्यात आली आहे. या पॅकेजमध्ये तळागाळातील क्रीडा-प्रतिभा शोधणे, खेळाडूंचा विकास, क्रीडा पायाभूत सुविधा आणि राष्ट्रीय महासंघांना सहाय्य या बाबींचा समावेश आहे. |
