1. The Ministry of Mines organized the 4th National Conclave on Mines & Minerals at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan was the chief guest of the conclave.
खाण मंत्रालयाने इंदोर, मध्य प्रदेश येथे खाण व खनिज यांवरील चौथ्या राष्ट्रीय परिषदेचे आयोजन केले होते. मध्यप्रदेशचे मुख्यमंत्री शिवराजसिंह चौहान हे परिषदेचे प्रमुख पाहुणे होते.

2. Sulabh International introduced the concept of ‘Sulabh Sauchalaya’ in India, which is cost-effective innovative water project to provide the cheapest drinking water in the world, only in 50paisa/ liter. The first of such a water project was launched in Bihar’s Darbhanga district, Haribol Pond.

3.  India has become the Vice-Chair, Regional head, of the Asia Pacific Region of  World Customs Organisation (WCO) for a period of two years, from July 2018 to June 2020.

1. A section of IDBI Bank officers has threatened to go on a six-day strike from Monday (July 16) in protest against the proposed acquisition of the state-owned lender by insurance behemoth LIC and wage-related issues, among others.

1. YouTube invests 25 million dollar to fight fake news. The investment is part of the $300 million Google News Initiative which was launched earlier this year in March, to help the media and to deal with fake news.

बनावट बातमींशी लढण्यासाठी YouTube ने 25 दशलक्ष डॉलर्स गुंतवले आहेत. ही गुंतवणूक 300 दशलक्षांहून अधिक Google News उपक्रमाचा एक भाग आहे, मिडियाला मदत करण्याच्या आणि बनावट बातम्या हाताळण्याकरिता मार्चच्या सुरुवातीला लाँच करण्यात आले आहे.

2. India’s much-awaited indigenously manufactured semi high-speed train called “Train 2018”, code-named Train 18, is expected to be rolled out in September. It is built by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) of Chennai to promote Make in India, and is capable of running at a speed of 160 km per hour.
