About NEET UG

NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate) is a national level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses (MBBS/BDS) in various government and private medical colleges in India. 1. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for NEET UG, candidates should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. 3. Examination Pattern: The NEET UG examination consists of 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. The total duration of the examination is 3 hours. Each correct answer is awarded 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

4. Admit Card: Candidates who have successfully registered fNEET UG can download their admit card from the official website of NTA. The admit card contains details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, examination center, and date and time of the examination.

5. Result: The result of NEET UG is declared on the official website of NTA. Candidates can check their result by entering their roll number and date of birth. The result contains details such as the candidate’s score, All India Rank (AIR), and category-wise rank.
