4. The 50th GST Council meeting, chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, was recently held in New Delhi. अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली 50 वी GST कौन्सिलची बैठक नुकतीच नवी दिल्ली येथे पार पडली. वस्तू आणि सेवा कर (जीएसटी) अंमलबजावणीशी संबंधित विविध मुद्द्यांवर चर्चा करणे आणि महत्त्वाच्या बाबींवर निर्णय घेणे या बैठकीचे उद्दिष्ट होते. परिषदेने जीएसटी दरातील बदल, भरपाई उपकर आणि जीएसटी अनुपालन सुलभ करण्यासाठीच्या उपाययोजना यासारख्या विषयांवर चर्चा केली. बैठकीत घेतलेल्या निकालांचा आणि निर्णयांचा भारतातील व्यवसाय आणि करदात्यांवर महत्त्वपूर्ण परिणाम होईल.

5. The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) have signed an MoU for cooperation in climate finance and sustainable development. The partnership aims to promote knowledge sharing and capacity building for sustainable financial services within IFSCs in India.
इंटरनॅशनल फायनान्शियल सर्व्हिसेस सेंटर्स अथॉरिटी (IFSCA) आणि क्लायमेट पॉलिसी इनिशिएटिव्ह (CPI) यांनी हवामान वित्त आणि शाश्वत विकासासाठी सहकार्यासाठी एक सामंजस्य करार केला आहे. भारतातील IFSCs अंतर्गत शाश्वत वित्तीय सेवांसाठी ज्ञानाची देवाणघेवाण आणि क्षमता निर्माण करण्यास प्रोत्साहन देणे हे भागीदारीचे उद्दिष्ट आहे.

आंतरराष्ट्रीय वित्तीय सेवा केंद्र प्राधिकरण (IFSCA) आणि इंडियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ मॅनेजमेंट लखनऊ – एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप अँड इनोव्हेशन सेल (IIML-EIC) यांनी आंतरराष्ट्रीय वित्तीय सेवा क्षेत्रातील नवकल्पना आणि उद्योजकतेला प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी एक सामंजस्य करार केला आहे. भागीदारीचे उद्दिष्ट IFSC इकोसिस्टममधील उद्योजकता आणि नवोपक्रमाच्या क्षेत्रात सहयोग, ज्ञानाची देवाणघेवाण आणि क्षमता वाढवणे हे आहे.

7. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has revoked the banking licences of Sri Sharada Mahila Co-operative Bank in Tumkur, Karnataka and Harihareshwar Sahakari Bank in Wai, Satara. The decision was made due to concerns over the financial health and governance of the two cooperative banks. The RBI’s action aims to safeguard the interests of depositors and maintain the stability of the banking sector.
