4. The Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina (MMNM) plan was started on June 12, 2024, by the government of Assam, which was led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The MMNM plan has been given Rs. 1,500 crore over five years by the Assam government, with Rs. 300 crore set aside for the first year.

1. An junior professor at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Centre named Dr. Michael Gottlieb started the search for AIDS by mistake at the start of 1981. The patient had pneumocystis pneumonia, a rare illness that makes people lose weight quickly and for no obvious reason. Dr. Gottlier asked a post-doc to look at the patient while he was teaching immunology. Like the first case, five more were added to the study, which led to a major piece in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. This was the first written record of what it was before it was known as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

The government said that more homes will be built than were planned under PMAY-G and PMAY-U by December 2024. This is in addition to the original goal of March 2022.
